This piece, Nests, involved the creation of a nest and a wearable ‘nest hat’, which were made as a way of thinking through homes as ephemeral, malleable, and mobile spaces. It was an initial dive into conceptual and tactile understandings ‘naturecultures’ and the connection between synthetic and organic in the way humans and nonhumans make worlds and homes.
